Group of Wheelers had a brilliant Saturday morning blast on cross and mountain bikes.

Round Baron's Haugh and Dalzell Estate, then followed by a loop round the Strathclyde park CX course. Finished up long the side if the Calder and back to Dalzell Estate.
Have to be careful in Dalzell estate when cycling or running up and down stairs as the wood is very greasy, all riders coped well.
Conditions were good if a little slippy under wheel, due to leaves and the overnight rain. This meant for some exciting moments and almost a trip into the drink at one point.
I'd like to have seen that near miss into the Clyde!
ReplyDeleteIt was at the Calder, before that waterfall in the pic, but on the other side. It's a roller coaster section, which is just the best bit with the added danger of getting wet to get the heart pumping. :-)
