Law Wheelers Club Run 30th August

On Sunday due to popular demand, the club will visit the Campsie Fells.

Situated a few miles north of Glasgow, the Campsies are the birthplace of skiing in Scotland. (According to Wikipedia anyway, I have my suspicions around the accuracy of this)

So the route heads up to Kilsyth, up the Takmadoon Road and along the carron valley.
Road surface along the Carron valley is a little sketchy, so be careful in the fast sections if this road.
Then its back over the Campsies into lennoxtown, again a fast decent although a decent road surface.
Then head back into the "shire" of Lanark via some roads.

Link to a strava route is here.
