Ride Like a Pro 2015

(No that's not a rude reference, well it could be)

16th of August saw a brilliant turn out of cyclist to Taggarts in Motherwell for the ride like a pro event.

Weather conditions couldn't have been better, with around 85 cyclists descending onto the forecourt.

@lawwheelers and @CoatbridgeCCC were the two main local cycling clubs attending along with various other located clubs being represented.

 The route was hilly to start, and with a tough climb up the Red Braes at Kirkfieldbank causing most of the early carnage. @LawWheelers were first up the climb (had to be mentioned on our blog)

All regrouped at Tesco by Lesmahagow for some much needed bananas, energybars, water and of course a good look at that F-type!

Club nutritionist (pictured left) managed to reverse his bike into the Jag XF, luckily the folks at Taggarts never noticed.

An excellent day was had by all, and a big well done to all those who got round and even did some extra miles thanks to some unplanned detours.
