Club News (End of Road Season)
September signals the end of the road season. Boo.
However as we were winding down, The Sean Quinn (as he was known at Flanders) has one last go at his own club 25 mile time trial record and smashed it again.Sean set a PB and club record of 55:31 at the National 25.
Not to be outdone, Graham (Smithy) Smith also set a fantastic PB of 56:21.
Well done to both, outstanding times!
Sean and Smithy also had an entry to the Fife 2-up TIme Trial, and came away with a prize for 2nd place.
September also signals the start of the Cyclocross season, Yea.
Colin Sergeant was in action at the Battle of Balloch CX race, and had a disastrous start with a puncture after first 1/4 of a lap. Ended up finishing 37th out of about 50 starters.Followed swiftly by Bute CX, a better showing and finished a strong 9th place.
