North Coast 500 - Day 4 – Durness to Thurso 73 mls (1700m). +20 deg start in S wind. Some hairy locals (highland coo's) not happy with all the traffic passing over their breakfast area. All start towards Weavers café in Tongue but soon 2-5 split before all in café. B return for van & rest – 2 for beach & rest follow with big stop in Melvich, before all meet in Thurso before rain. Civilisation (or Zombie Apocalypse??) (Camera mans phone battery emptied itself while trying to get a signal, so bit of a reduction in photos. Did manage to capture zombie/man with a banjo in Thurso...)
